A Remarkable Antique French Cross With Sunburst And Sacred Heart, 1800's

This is a remarkable anrique French chross embellished with a sunburst or rays of light. Dating from the 19th century this stunning and unique treasure bears the initials of Christ as well as the precious Sacred Heart at its centre. The craftsmanship that went into its creation is truly outstanding. It is made of bronze and possibly other metal that has been gilded [sunburst]. It measures about 36 x 33 cm or 14 x 13 inches and it is in lovely antique condition with some signs of ageing that in my opinion only bring forth its true beauty and splendour today.
