An Opulent Antique French Mirror In A Blue Velvet Frame With Silver, 1800's

This exquisite French mirror was discovered recently in the South of France. Dating from the 1850's its original beveled mercerised glass mirror is placed within a phenomenal blue velvet frame adorned with a highly ornate silver embellishment that is fantastic in its outstanding design of intricately fluid shapes. It measures about 56 x 52 x 4 cm or approximately 22 x 20.4 x 1.5 inches and considering its age it is in a great antique condition with minor signs of ageing that in my opinion only bring forth its true beauty and splendour today.
